Samreen Choudhry M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist in Southern California. Originally from the west suburbs of Chicago, she was one of the select few in the country to be accepted early into the University of Illinois at Chicago’s prestigious direct medical program. While there, she earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees, graduating summa cum laude. She then went on to complete her dermatology residency at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. During her career, she has presented at multiple national conferences and authored several publications.
Dr. Choudhry’s professional interests include general medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with a special interest in pigmented lesions and skin cancer prevention and treatment. She also manages a wide variety of skin conditions including but not limited to dermatitis, eczema, vitiligo, acne, and rosacea. She is skilled in dermatologic surgery including removal of both benign and cancerous skin lesions and routinely performs minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Choudhry is an ASLMS grant recipient, ASDS scholarship recipient, and Henry Ford GME research grant recipient for her work in CO2 laser treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
